Specially a big thank you to the physiotherapist team and Ms Nilar Aung and Samonte for helping my mum with all the walking aid machines to walk with. The physiotherapy helps a lot in moving their muscles. My mum is happy as she is able to stand from her wheelchair and walk with those aided machines. The team shows lots of patience and love to all the aged residences at UMC Toa Payoh. Thumbs up to all staff, admin and everyone working there. The Centre provides and arranged lots of activities for the residence there and they don’t feel bored. Families are invited to join in festival celebrations, e.g. Chinese New Year, national day celebrations. The residences are happy that they contribute themselves to games and also the works they did together like painting the easter decorations, they used buttons to create flowers cards etc. Although the residence stayed there but they are well aware of current affairs as they watch tv programs. The residences there are like a big family and they look after each other.

My aunt is staying here. The nurses and caretakers on Level 5 are very cordial, patient and nice. Every time I am there, they look like they enjoy working there. No one is angry or grouchy, the workers seem to work well together. Even the workers/nurses are respectful towards other workers/nurses. My aunt enjoys the activity provided, as she has dementia, she is forgetful. Too much noise will over stimulate her. Whenever I visited her, which is once every week or two weeks if I am in town, she seems to respond well, has calm temperament and enjoys food. Her calmness tells me that she is surrounded by calmness and good organization of her environment. I hope she continues to enjoy living here for a long time. Thank you UMC Toa Payoh.
