Respite Stay

Respite Stay
Sometimes, a short-term stay is needed to provide extra support—whether it’s for specialised post-surgery care or when a caregiver is temporarily unavailable.
During their time with us, short-stay residents receive the same professional care and enjoy the wide range of programmes and activities as our long-term residents. This is also an opportunity for them to become familiar with our services and environment, making it easier to decide if this is the right place for a longer stay.
With options ranging from one week to three months, our respite stay programme offers flexibility and peace of mind.
Benefits
Healthy Body
We provide residents with short-term, professional medical attention to address immediate health needs or provide a break from routine caregiving. Nurses and doctors are available to monitor conditions, manage medications, and ensure continuity of care during the stay. The presence of physiotherapists and occupational therapists also contributes significantly to maintaining and improving residents’ physical function and mobility through tailored exercise programs and activities. Meal plans, endorsed and reviewed by dieticians, ensure that each resident’s dietary needs are met during their stay.
Healthy Mind
We offer a refreshing change of environment and routine, which can have a positive impact on mental health. Residents benefit from supportive interactions with healthcare professionals who can identify and address mental health concerns. A variety of social and recreational activities organised by volunteers and staff stimulate cognitive function, encourage creativity, and prevent feelings of isolation. Respite stays also offer residents the chance to explore hobbies or join in creative pursuits, fostering mental stimulation and a sense of fulfilment.
Healthy Heart
A warm and welcoming environment helps residents feel at ease during their time with us. Guests can enjoy one-on-one interactions with our staff, who are attentive to their emotional needs and focused on building trust quickly. Family involvement is encouraged, making it easier for loved ones to stay connected during the short-term visit while providing caregivers a much-needed rest.
