We believe in enriching the lives of our residents with meaningful activities and social interaction. Volunteers play a special role in enhancing and even boosting the lives and well-being of our residents. There are numerous opportunities for volunteers to make a difference.
Here are some ways you can contribute as a volunteer:
Organising / Assisting with art and craft activities
Befriending our residents
Organising / Assisting with cooking sessions
Organising dance sessions
Assisting with resident exercises
Organising / Helping out at festive celebrations
Playing games with residents (e.g., BINGO, mahjong, Chinese chess, cards)
Assisting residents with gardening activities
Running karaoke sessions
Providing language lessons for foreign staff (e.g., Malay, Mandarin, Hokkien)
Helping to maintain our premises
Providing manicures and pedicures
Providing pet interaction / therapy
Assisting residents during meal times
Accompanying residents for medical appointments
Running movie sessions
Assisting with ad hoc projects (e.g., annual spring cleaning)
Organising / Accompanying residents to outings (e.g., neighbourhood, popular attractions)
Providing sewing services
